- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Project Information: The contractor must furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and personnel, necessary for the performance of all operations associated with providing debris removal and vegetation control, along various fence alignments and within the Area of Operation of the Office of Border Patrol's Rio Grande Valley(RGV), Texas, as described in the attached Solicitation with map attachments. This includes but is not limited to complete maintenance of all drainage crossings, vegetated areas, trees, fence lines, and roadways, as described in the Solicitation to be released soon. The Period Of Performance will be seven (7) months from the Notice to Proceed at contract award. Services anticipated to be required consist of: 1) Debris Removal includes (but is not limited to): Litter, Trash, Man-Made, Natural removal 2) Vegetation control includes (but is not limited to): Tractor Mowing, Trimming, Edging, Tree Maintenance (pruning, trimming, removal of trees and herbicide/pesticide application) 3) Safety instructions for the Contractor's workers, traffic control measures, hazardous waste, environmental compliance 4) Security instructions for personnel to safeguard material, equipment, etc. as the need is determined by the contractor. This includes but is not limited to actual project sites, and or staging areas and storage facilities. The Customs Border Patrol will not provide security for the contractor. 5) Damage Responsibilty. This includes Government, private or personal property involved in performance of the work. 6) Contractor Laison. 7) Contractor Personnel. 8) Work Plan. 9) Pre-Work Conference. 10) Government Reports. 11) Geospatial Data Collection (GPS). The reporting shall include GPS locations and field measurements of length. The Contractor shall also provide photographs showing deteriorated conditions before and after maintenance activities with associated GPS locations. Provide the required GPS equipment to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for approval. Solicitation will not be available in paper format or on compact disc. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the ASFI website daily for amendments to the solicitation. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to receive a government contract award. You may register with the CCR at http://www.ccr.gov/.
