- The 421 SCMS/GUMDA is conducting a J85 Component Repair Industry Day on 15 December 2009 at The Boeing Building, in the Fortress Conference Room, located at 6001 S. Air Depot Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73135. Directions: Between I-240 and Tinker AFB on the West side of Air Depot North of I-240. The focus will be the proposed strategy for J85 component repair and the qualification requirements. The AF will present an overview of the J85 program current status and future strategy. Firms interested in future J85 component maintenance workload are encouraged to attend. The Government will conduct one on one meetings with interested firms should they desire one. Slots for these closed meetings are available after the open briefings are conducted (please let us know if a closed meeting is required). The Industry Day will convene at 0800, briefings will be in the morning with one on one meetings in the afternoon. Provide a brief description of the following: 1. Your repair capability or access to this capability. 2. Capacity/storage in your facility that would accommodate the segregation of serviceable/unserviceable items and segregation of the different user's assets (Navy, USAF, and FMS). 3. Your process for receiving assets for repair and out processing of assets. 4. Does your company have commercial contracts for repair within the industry? If so, please provide typical terms and conditions most commonly seen in these types of repair contracts. 5. While performing these repair processes do you maintain replenishment stock for piece parts in order to maintain delivery schedules without delays due to awaiting parts?
