- AMENDMENT NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W26AEH117LMPB1 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-34. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 531120 with a small business size standard of $7.00M. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2010-05-06 12:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be FORT LEE, VA 23801 The USA ACC MICC Fort Lee requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, Functional space requested for informal reception to accommodate 200 attendees on 08/02/2010. Event will begin at 5:30pm until 8pm. Requires 4 service personnel; cash beverage bar; and lite appetizers. Majority set up of cocktail tables/no chairs and four rounds for seating of six with chairs., 1, EA; LI 002, Request lite continental breakfast on 08/03/2010 to 08/04/2010(serves 150 attendees), 08/05/2010 serves(60 attendees). Breakfast served from 7am to 8am only. Served in adjoining area, outside formal meeting room; includes breakfast beverages, fruit, assorted sweet rolls and breads., 1, EA; LI 003, Request a formal meeting room for 08/03/2010 to 08/04/2010 with outside adjoining area large enough for one registration table w/two chairs and two 8x10 displays. Room size to accommodate 150 attendees from 7am to 5pm. Room configuration in crescent style. Include two head tables with skirting and podium. Rear of room will need to accommoate four 8x10 displays and two standard size tables., 1, EA; LI 004, Request two rooms to accommodate 60 attendees (30 in each room) for 08/03/2010 to 08/05/2010 set up classroom style, include flip charts with pad of paper and markers., 1, EA; LI 005, Request lite mid-morning refreshments to accommodate 150 attendees from 08/03/2010 to 08/04/2010, 60 attendees on 08/05/2010. Refreshments are to be served in adjoining area outside formal meeting room up until lunch hour. Includes coffee and tea throughout the day, 1, EA; LI 006, Request plate lunch to accomodate 150 attendees and separate room from formal meeting area for a sit down plated luncheon on 08/03/2010. Provide description of items available on menu., 150, EA; LI 007, Request lunch buffet to accommodate 150 attendees on 08/04/2010., 150, EA; LI 008, Request box Lunches to accommodate 60 attendees on 08/05/2010.(examples: turkey, ham, roast beef sandwiches, chips, drinks)., 60, EA; LI 009, Request IT personnel and AV support during general session meeting from 7am to 5pm on 08/03/2010 to 08/04/2010, to include: standing podium w/microphone; wireless internet connections; two lapel microphones; four wireless hand held microphones; one LCD projector; one laptop computer; large projection screen (larger than 8x10) and one IT tech., 1, EA; LI 010, Require afternoon break to accommodate 150 attendees for 08/03/2010 to 08/04/2010 for time period after lunch until end of meeting session. Example: cookies, fresh fruit, coffee, assorted teas, bottled water, assorted soft drinks, 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, USA ACC MICC Fort Lee intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACC MICC Fort Lee is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
