Description
The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV), Indian Head, Maryland is requesting information on wireless radio frequency (RF) communication systems and/or technologies suitable for command and control of EOD robotic platforms. The purpose of this solicitation is to identify promising wireless communication systems and/or technologies that can be used to improve communications of the fielded EOD robotic platforms, as well as support the future Advanced EOD Robotic Systems (AEODRS) program. The AEODRS program's communication strategy is to use a common radio system for all of its robotic platforms. The three variants that makeup the AEODRS family of robots are dismounted (~35lbs), tactical (~160lbs), and infrastructure (~600lbs). Vendors are encouraged to fully explain their product's special features, capabilities, and performance. Systems that are in advanced stages of development are preferred and an assessment of Technology Readiness Level (TRL) should be included in the description. Performance description is sought in the form of white papers (limited to five pages) and/or detailed specification sheets. Technical Summary Guidance: 1.General Information. 1.1.Vendor Information. Name, address, point of contact, email and postal address, telephone number, and related WebPages. 1.2.Point of Contact.
