Description
Coffman Cove Camp Services The awardee of this contract is required to provide Camp Cook Services at the Forest Service Barge in Coffman Cove from June 1, 2010 to September 30th, 2010, and the government will have the option to extend service until October 31, 2010. The barge will be located at the Inter Island Ferry Terminal in Coffman Cove. The Camp Cook will be required to perform the following duties on a daily basis seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, during the term of the contract: -Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for between 4 and 10 people. Breakfast and Supper are to be hot meals and the Lunch is to be a cold sack lunch. Breakfast is to be available between 5:30am and 7:30am. The food for lunch is to be available to be taken during breakfast. Supper is to be served between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. The Kitchen utensils will be provided by Government. Cold and hot running water will be available. The Forest Service COR will notify the Camp Cook every Thursday the week before the number of people he must plan for during the next week, and whether any have dietary restrictions (such as vegetarians) or have food allergies so the Cook may accommodate them. Cook is to make reasonable effort to incorporate requests into served meals. The Camp Cook must prepare a grocery list within the budget of $50 per day per person and provide the grocery list to the Forest Service Representative each Thursday before 5:00pm. Amount of food ordered each week must be sufficient to satisfy the next week’s estimate of people plus allow for one unexpected person per meal per day. Contractor will coordinate grocery delivery with the COR. Keep Kitchen Area and utensils reasonably clean in accordance with Food Safety Regulations’ standard practice. Kitchen area cleaning supplies will be provided by the Forest Service. Food must be prepared in accordance with Food Safety Regulations, namely the Food and Drug Administration’s food code. Food poisoning or obvious health hazards will be grounds for immediate termination of the contract.
