- Description
- This source selection procurement consists of one solicitation with the intent to award one (1) Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (FFP?IDIQ) contract. The contract will include a base period and four (4) option periods. The performance-period requirements will be 365 calendar days from date of award for the base period and option periods, or when the not-to-exceed amount is reached, whichever occurs first. The total estimated contract value is between 300,000,000 and 305,000,000 for the base period and four option periods. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the services. The work shall be performed at various locations at the US Naval Air Facility, Atsugi and US Government facilities in the Kanto Plain. The following is an example of the dispersion of work at the various locations in the Atsugi area for FFP work: (1) Maintenance and Repair of Blast Deflector: Bldg. 2100 (2) Maintenance and Repair of Intake Door: Bldg. 2100 (3) Maintenance and Repair of Engine Air Starter System: Bldg. 2100 (including Bldg. 2102). The exact location will be indicated in each task order issued by the contracting officer. Unless otherwise indicated in the synopsis, this is an Internet-only solicitation. It is the bidder's/offeror's responsibility to check this site daily in order to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit will be scheduled for approximately 02 June 2010. More details will be forthcoming. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposals, conforming to the Request for Proposal, will be most advantageous to the Government, resulting in the best value, price and other factors considered. Price is considered approximately equal to the technical evaluation factors. The solicitation will be issued on or about 26 May 2010. Proposals will be due on or about 25 June 2010 at NAVFAC FAR EAST, OP3A, IPT FE Yokosuka, Japan at the time specified in the solicitation. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://asia.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the AsiaNECO website for any posted changes. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CONTINUALLY VIEW THE WEBSITE FOR ANY AMENDMENTS ISSUED TO THE SOLICITATION.
