The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC), Engineering & Technical Management Directorate, Engineering Data Branch has a long term goal of being able to plot replacement hard-copy engineering drawings from digital Mylar drawings. The OC-ALC /Engineering Data Branch is seeking sources for acceptable Class 3 Polyester Film/Vellum/Mylar material in various widths. For our requirement, material rolls must have a minimum inside diameter core of 3 inches and be compatible for use on HP DesignJet printer HPZ6100A or Xerox LaserJet printer 510dp. Anticipated requirement is 75-100 ft rolls in widths of 24, 36 and 52 inches. Because of the accuracy requirements for these reproductions of engineering drawings, the required polyester film must be compliant with Mil Specification MIL-PRF-5480G, Class 3. (see attached) HOW TO RESPOND: Please provide commercial pamphlets or any other documentation that would describe the company's ability to meet the above requirements. Please submit responses/questions to this Sources Sought/Request for Information, in writing, via e-mail to Gene Wahweah @ gene.wahweah@tinker.af.mil by 28 May 2010. Attachment: MIL-PRF-5480G 3.2.2.1 Class 3. Reproductions shall be of high-contrast, transparent or translucent material, having allowable tolerance and stability characteristics within the following limits. a. Stability. Changes in linear dimensions shall not exceed 0.00001 inch per inch (0.00001mm per mm) per degree Fahrenheit (.6 degree Celsius) when the material, conditioned at 80 degrees Fahrenheit (26.7 degrees Celsius), is exposed to 220 degrees Fahrenheit (104 degrees Celsius) for one hour and returned to the original condition temperature. Changes in linear dimensions shall not exceed 0.00001 inch per inch (0.00001mm per mm) per percent relative humidity when the material, conditioned at 10% relative humidity, is exposed to 98% relative humidity for twenty four hours and returned to the original conditioning relative humidity.
