- The item to procure is a Motor, Direct Current, NSN: 6105-01-158-2232, Part Number: 11829380, for use on the Target Mechanism, Remote Electronic Targetry System (RETS). The overall height is 5.000 inches, overall length is 10.625 inches. Current type, AC/DC, frequency in hertz, 50.0/60.0, phase, braking method, electric, limit switch control not included, temp rating, 28.0 DEG.F./200 DEG.F.,Max operating altitude rating, 15,000 FT. Enviromental protection, Vibration/Salt Spray/Moisture proof, storage temp range, minus 30.0 DEG.F. to 200.0 DEG.F. The U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM) intends to award a contract for 300 each with 100% Option. FOB is Distination. Estimated issue date is 12 May 2010. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
