Description
Contractor shall provide all material, equipment, labor, supervision and expertise necessary to pave the South Roadway Entrance to the VA Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. The work must be staged and coordinated with the resident engineer. The project is to include a survey of existing conditions on the current roadway. The work is to include stripping and removing grass at shoulder of road, widening narrow portion of road to 18' to allow two-way traffic, installing new drainage pipes, rough grade, scarifying and re-compact native strata, laying a 4' thick compacted crushed stone base course, applying a prime coat, followed by a 2' thick type 3 asphaltic concrete wearing course, and tie into existing grade. Pipe bollard guardrail with cable will be installed along widened portion of road. All work shall be performed in accordance to the project plans and specifications. The dollar magnitude is between$100,000.00 and $500,000.00. NAICS 237310 applies-size standard is $33.5 million. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Serviced Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All offerors must be registered in VETBIZ at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and a CCR http://www.ccr.gov under NAICS 237310 to be eligible for award. You must register as 'Interested Vendor' at the fedbizopps website for solicitation. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in fedbizopps 'To Receive Notification' for amendments. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the fedbizopps website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation.
