- Sources Sought for Potential Overhaul Vendors for HC130H 54H60 Propeller Assemblies, Individual Blades and Related Propeller Components. This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of any commercially available overhaul vendors that may be of interest to the United States Coast Guard. Offerors must possess a current FAA certification or OEM certifications to perform overhauls on this material and must provide proof of these certifications with your response. Please respond to the following questions: (1) Is your business a large or small business? (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emergent business, or a small, disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and is your firm certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? (4) Is your firm a certified "hub zone" firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned? (7) Are your services listed on a GSA schedule? (8) Do you have other government agencies using your overhaul facility?, and if so which agencies, provide point of contacts and contract numbers. After review of the responses to this sources sought notice, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the overhauls, a solicitation announcement will be published on FedBizOps. Responses to this sources sought notice are NOT adequate responses to any future solicitation announcement. All interested offers will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought notice. Again, this is NOT a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. All companies that can meet the specifications are encouraged to provide a capability statement, company literature, brochures, and/or any other information that demonstrates that the specifications can be met. Responses to this sources sought notice along with any capability statements, company literature, brochures shall be emailed to Andrea.G.Swayne@uscg.mil or mailed to Commanding Officer, Aviation Logistics Center, Heavy Maintenance Facility, 1060 Consolidated Road, Elizabeth City, NC 27909, ATTN: Andrea Swayne. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 18 June 2010 at 3:00 p.m. EST. Companies responding to this announcement that fail to provide all of the required information cannot be used to help the Government make the appropriate contract decisions which is the intent of this sources sought notice. This notice is to help the USCG in determining potential sources only. All companies responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is NOT a request to be considered for a contract award. All interested parties must respond to any future solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought Notice are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offers list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests.
