Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis. This is NOT a Request for Proposal. The following information is provided to assist the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIR) in conducting a market research of industry to identify potential contractors capable of providing Nitrogen Fill and Check Units. Interested Contractor’s should be able to provide Nitrogen Fill and Check Units that meet the following Salient Characteristics: Minimum Salient Characteristics Unit must consist of a pressure regulator that will provide an output pressure range of 2-50 psi with an inlet pressure of 400 psig. An absolute pressure gage which is scaled to 20 psi in increments of ¼ psi. The unit must come with two service hose assemblies; one 18 inches, & one 72 inches long. These hose assemblies must have an MS28889 (Schrader valve) fitting on one end & a quick disconnect coupling to attach to the check and fill unit. This unit will require a source of nitrogen (400 psi) to operate. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.
