Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number is HSCG37-10-Q6SPV84 is issued as a Request for Quotations. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotations shall be valid for a period of 60 days. The desired start date and period of performance for this contract is June 14, 2010 - July 16, 2010. The place of performance is at US Coast Guard Base Terminal Island, Base Support Unit (BSU) San Pedro, 1001 S. Seaside Avenue, San Pedro, CA 90731. This requirement is set aside for small business with a NAICS Code 336611. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) reference number is HSCG-10-Q-6SPV83 (attached). The objective of this requirement is for small boat Hose Renewal. In particular, Line Item #1: Provide all labor, materials and equipment to remove hose number 022-070 as reflected in the attached statement of work and as specified in the attached U.S. Coast Guard Asset Computerized Maintenance System Document UTB-41 M00004.0; Rev'd 09/30/09 and U.S. Coast Guard Drawing 41-UT 4103_5_. Line Item #2: Provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to purchase all hoses, required connectors, fittings hardware and tags; assemble and test the hose assemblies in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and U.S. Coast Guard Asset Computerized Maintenance System Document UTB-41 M0004.0; Rev's 09/30/09. Line Item #3: Provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to install and test the hose Assemblies 022-070 in accordance with the following attachments: (1) Statement of Work (SOW) entitled Hose Renewal Project Pertaining to USCG Boat 41407, dated May 12, 2010; (2) U.S. Coast Guard asset Computerized Maintenance System Document UTB M00004.0; Rev'd 09/30/09: (3) U.S. Coast Guard asset Computerized Maintenance System Document UTB M00001.0; Rev'd 08/31/09, pages 6 of 12 and 12 of 12. (4) U.S. Coast Guard Drawing 41-UT 4103_5_. All applicable general requirements and specifications documents are attached. The contractor shall perform work as defined in the statement of work, technical specifications, computerized maintenance system document and drawings. A Pre-Quote Conference is is scheduled for Thursday, May 19, 2010. Within two days of the scheduled Pre-Proposal Conference, the prospective contractors planning to attend, shall provide the names of the personnel to the Key Technical Contact (Mr. Michael Starr at 310-521-6030 or DC1 Ramon Duarte at 310-521-6014) for coordination with the Base Guards. All prospective contractor representatives shall have available and provide to the Gate Guards proper valid identification, vehicle registration and current insurance. Quotes shall be evaluated based on a "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" basis. The Walsh-Healy Contract Act applies to this solicitation and subsequent resulting contract. The solicitation documents, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37. The following FAR Clauses are applicable: FAR 52.212-1 Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items: FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders.
