- Description
- The UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Charlotte, North Carolina, that will be expiring. The Government is seeking to lease approximately 13,264 contiguous rentable square feet of office and related space. The rentable square feet must yield a minimum of 11,534 contiguous ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet. The lease term requirement is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. The space must be available for occupancy by October 1, 2011. The delineated area is: North: I-85, East: I-485; South: I-485; and West: I-485. Other requirements applicable to this requirement include: •Space shall be located on a second floor or higher, in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious, professional surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. •Adequate eating facilities shall be located within the immediate vicinity of the building, but generally not exceeding 1 mile. •The requirement includes 20 secured onsite parking spaces. The Government is considering whether to remain in its existing lease space or relocate to alternative space. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, non-productive agency downtime, etc. Expressions of Interest must be submitted in writing by 6:00 pm on June 11, 2010.
