Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. The National Park Service Alaska Regional Office, requests capabilities statements from all small business firms concerning the Janitorial Services project described below. The NAICS code governing this acquisition is 561720 with a size standard of $16,500,000.00. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. Project Description: The National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office seeks qualified contractors to provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation and other items necessary to perform janitorial services at the National Park Service facility located in Kotzebue, Alaska, for two facilities with one having approximately 9,500 sq feet of space and the second facility having approximately 1970 sq feet of space. The contract performance period is five years, a one (1) year base period, and four (4) additional option years. The NPS Alaska Regional Office plans to award the contract as a single award, firm fixed price contract. The conceptual scope of work associated with the services includes but is not limited to, removal of trash, floor maintenance, mopping/sweeping, vacuuming, damp wiping, spot cleaning, glass/mirror cleaning, low/high dusting, window washing, restrooms, kitchen areas, work areas, offices, entranceways, lobbies, and common areas. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform janitorial services in Kotzebue, Alaska. Interested small business firms should submit a narrative demonstrating their qualifications to perform work as described above. These statements shall include the following information: summary of qualifications, details of similar work experience including dates of performance and references with contact information (name, email address and phone numbers).
