- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for Introduction to Weibull and Risk Analysis Methods Training which has been set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611430. The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for a 1-year period with three 1-year option periods to renew. When responding to this solicitation, the contractor is required to submit a copy of their course syllabus, including proposed additions/changes, in sufficient detail to determine compliance with the minimum hourly requirements of the solicitation. All offerors are encouraged to pay special attention to section M.4 Technical Evaluation Factors. Failure of an offeror to provide the information requested will result in their offer being determined nonresponsive and thus ineligible for award. All interested small business sources should first attempt to download the attached document(s) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for the solicitation must be made in writing via email at Harold.Hannah@faa.gov. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
