- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation TIRNO-10-Q-00179 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) with the evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures.” The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-41, and the size standard is $7 million. This is a set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 453998. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is looking to purchase (200) V-Line Top Drawer Pistol Safes (2912-S), Gold Trim with Department of Treasury, Criminal Investigation, Special Agent badge etched in gold centered on top, five button mechanical lock. The badge dimensions: 5”width by 8”length. Please email to request a picture of the badge. The ship to address will be in Washington, DC 20224. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors – Commercial, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order – Commercial Items, Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items, with its quote. Offerors not in possession of the above references clauses and provisions in full text may obtain a copy via the INTERNET at http://www.arnet.gov or by contacting the contract specialist. The government intends to award a firm fixed price order. Award is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition procedures and will be based on lowest price. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirements shall submit a quote via email no later than 7 calendar days from the posted date of this announcement. All quotes must include price per item, FOB point, total price, payment terms, delivery time, a contact person (name & phone number), business size, and DUN’s number.
