- Description
- The U.S. Department of Labor intends to negotiate a sole source contract with White Sands Technology for the purpose of maintenance to an existing software called, ProActive DBA. The period of performance for this project is 12 months from the date of award. The Office of Job Corps (OJC) installed the ProActive DBA software for the used of database monitoring, auditing and maintenance, space/fragmentation analysis, data repair and data recovery. OJC is seeking to renew a maintenance contract for ProActive DBA that will allow Job Corps technical staff access to technical support from White Sands Technology, Inc., and also allow Job Corps access to product updates patches and fixes. White Sands is the sole developer, seller and provider of maintenance contracts for ProActive DBA. This notice of intent is not an announcement of the availability of a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is there an RFP available. Any interested party who believe that they can provide the required service may respond by submitting a capability statement via email to Tyrone Wells at wells.tyrone @dol.gov. The capability statement must include price information and describe in detail the parties qualifications and experience in providing the required service as described above. All submissions must be received in 7 calendar days of the publication date of this synopsis. A determination not to compete the proposed work based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether this intended contract is a competitive procurement.
