Description
Regional Contracting Office Bavaria, 409th Contracting Support Brigade intends to issue a solicitation for Flooring, Lighting, Heating, and Power equipment and services at two separate locations within the Adazi Training Area (ATA), Latvia, as specified in this Statement of Work (SOW) attached. Regional Contracting Office (Bavaria), 409th Contracting Support Brigade will be conducting a pre-solicitation conference and site visit on 18 June 2010 (Friday) at 1000 hours (Latvian Local Time) to provide detailed information concerning the requirements for contractors interested in submitting offers and obtain industry feedback. Contractors interested in receiving information concerning the current project, please contact the primary and alternate point of contact listed below to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Contractors planning to attend the pre-solicitation conference and site visit at the Adazi Training Area in Latvia must submit the following: (1) Base Access Roster and (2) Any industry feedback on the scope of work. A base access roster to the Primary and Alternate Point of Contact annotated below. This access roster must be sent to the Primary and Alternate POC on Attachment 1 NLT 8 June 2010 (Tuesday) at 1000 hours local time consisting of the following information: Last Name, First name, ID Type, ID Number, Passport Number, Place of Birth, Date of Birth, Company Name, Purpose of Access & Job Position, Vehicle Type & License #. This is a SPECIAL NOTICE for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID. Responses to this SPECIAL NOTICE will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this announcement, solicitation announcements will be published. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. All interested offerors will have the opportunity to respond to solicitation announcements at a later time. This notice is to assist the 409th Contracting Support Brigade in determining potential sources and to obtain industry comments on the attached Scope of Work. This sources sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. NO APPOINTMENTS OR TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED The Government will post this solicitation and all subsequent amendments through the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Web Site https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or the Government-Wide Point of Entry (GPE) Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the Offerors sole responsibility to obtain this solicitation and any subsequent amendments through this website. Offerors are encouraged to visit this web site and become familiar with its content and functionality prior to the solicitation issue date. Prospective Offerors must provide all information necessary to receive posting notifications. The solicitation will be issued on or about 18 June 2010. The solicitation will be issued free of charge and available electronically. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be provided. It is the offeror's sole responsibility to ensure they have obtained all solicitation documents and any subsequent amendments, if any. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation.
