- The purpose of this amendment is to change the delivery and answer the following: a. QUESTION: Are the three half day media training sessions to take place at the same time or at different times? ANSWER: There will be 3 (three) half day sessions, to be completed in two days consecutively. b. QUESTION: There is no mention of living accomadation - will this be provided by the military establishment or should this be included for the vendor? ANSWER: Living accomodations will be provided by the government. c. QUESTION: Your documentation says the military would provide tv/video equipment, would they also provide camera personell? ANSWER: The government will supply one vidoerapher and the recording equipment. d. QUESTION: Can you give an idea of the numbers to be trainined in each session? ANSWER: The number of each session will be: Executive session: 30-40 commanders; Crisis Communication Session: 80-100 personell; and Open Session: 100 personell e. QUESTION: There is no mention of radio. This meduim requires different skills, and in many of hte environments in which operations are conducted, in both the most immediate and most prevalent medium. ANSWER: TV and print are the most prevalent. f. QUESTION: On what timescale is this training to be delivered? ANSWER: Period of Performance: The earliest advantages timeframe for the contractor, not during any federal holidays. Day One: One morning session and one afternoon session. Day Two: One morning session. g. QUESTION: Will this be a FFP or CFF award? ANSWER: Contract will be awarded as Firm Fixed Price contract. h. QUESTION: Cannot find the references provided in the PWS. Could you please clarify where para. 1.3.2 is located since current AFI 35-101 does not contain said reference? ANSWER: Actual reference is: 1.8.1. Trusted Counsel to Leaders. Public Affairs delivers candid and timely counsel and guidance to commanders on decisions that affect the Air Force's ability to accomplish its mission. This professional advice enables leaders to accurately forecast the ramifications of their actions and their impact on public opinion. 1.8.1.1. Public Affairs professionals identify and analyze key issues, develop messages, conduct media training, target specific audiences, ensure legally mandated public involvement requirements are met, recommend methods of delivery, and measure and evaluate results. This process enables commanders--in peace and war-- to provide factual information so the Air Force family, Congress, media, and the public may assess and understand how our people and programs contribute to national security. i. The solictation response date has been changed to 8 June 2010 at 1500 local. No futher changes are being made.
