- The due date for submission of clearance information is hereby extended until June 18, 2010. The solicitation will only be released to firms meeting all of the requirements on that date. The United States Secret Service (USSS) provides technical support and training to multiple Vetted Anti Counterfeit Force (VACF) groups in Colombia, South America. The technical support consists of a computerized criminal case database and monitoring equipment. This database and monitoring equipment is able to organize, catalog and digitally archive criminal case materials to include physical evidence, photos, audio/ video files and digital voice recordings. The goals and objectives of the Secret Service are to assist the Colombian authorities through training, strategy development and infrastructure improvement. The Colombian VACF will target both small scale and major counterfeiting organizations in order to disrupt all levels of counterfeit U.S. currency trafficking. The work of the VACF will assist Secret Service personnel stationed in Colombia with the support of both domestic and multi-national counterfeit investigations. The USSS contractor selected under this solicitation shall provide technical support to the VACF database and monitoring equipment. Full specifications and requirements are described in a classified statement of work. Before this statement of work can be distributed for review, each interested vendor must posses a "Secret" or above security clearance and submit a DD-254 for verification. Once the security information is verified, the Secret Service will proceed to send the statement of work to all qualified requestors. Contractors interested in receiving the solicitation for this project must provide a completed DD254 verifying that their firm is cleared for the receipt and handling of information that has been classified as SECRET, as well as evidence of clearances at a minimum of SECRET level for all personnel who will have access to the solicitation or be assigned to the project. The solicitation for this project is anticipated to be released on or about July 2, 2010 and will only be released to firms who have met these requirements. Interested firms must submit: - Name and address of firm (address for delivery of secure documents) - CAGE Code - Project lead contact information (Name, e-mail, phone number) - Signed originals of the required DD254 to U.S. Secret Service, Procurement Division, Attention: April Delancy, 950 H Street NW, Washington, DC 20223. Advance copies of the information should be submitted to April.Delancy@usss.dhs.gov in order to facilitate processing.
