- This Opportunity is UNRESTRICTED and will be available to all business sizes. The USFWS has a requirement for the installation and testing of all site utilities at Desert National Wildlife Refuge, Corn Creek Station located north of Las Vegas, NV. Site utilites includes (1) replacing overhead electrical service with underground conduit, conductors, vaults; new meter centers and connections to existing facilities; (2) install underground new conduit, pull boxes and fiber optic for data and telephone, installation of conduit for future circuits, conductors for underground security & alarm circuits; (3) potable water distribution including new waterlines and connections to existing buildings and lines for future connection to well, visitor center, etc; (4) non-potable water system including waterline for 'dry' fire hydrant and fire sprinkler system and (5) sewage collection including installation of sewage gravity collection system from existing and future buildings, septic tanks, wastewater wetlands and leach field. Please refer to comprehensive Statement of Work in the Solicitation when posted. This will be a best value procurement with award based on experience/technical capability, past performance with similar requirements and price. All evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined, are significantly more important than price. Solicitation number 80181AR399 will be posted in approximately 18-20 days and may be viewed via a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at www.fedbizopps.gov or www.nbc.gov. Prospective bidders will have approximately 30 days from the posting date to respond to the solicitation. The NAICS code is 237110 and the size standard is $33.5 million. The project magnitutde is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The work will commence within 15 days of the Notice to Proceed and be completed within 6-9 months of Notice to Proceed.
