Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement to Soil Stabilization Products Co. There is no solicitation. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) in Portland, Oregon intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.3021, Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is required to support the Ridgefield National Wildlife refuge Complex in Ridgefield, Washington. NaturalPavel XL Resin Pavement is a proprietary product from Soil Stabilization Products Company. The product will provide environmentally friendly asphalt lke surface and can be applied in a trail situation where access iv limited. Additionally the National Park Service, Fort Vancouver will be using the same NaturalPave XL Resin product for trail construction and partnered with them to reduce shipping costs. Nevertheless, any firm that believes that it is capable of meeting the USFWS requirements described herein may submit a response no later than 06/24/2010 by COB to be considered. Responses to this posting must be submitted in writing via email only. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the USFWS.
