Description

RECOVERYThis project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act.Architect/Engineering Design Services. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO ANDREWS AND ANDERSON ARCHITECTS, Contract No. 1443C2000080300, as a logical follow-on task order. NAICS code 541310. The A/E has been involved in this project as a subcontractor from the initial scoping through preparation of construction documents under the auspices of a previous contract which expired on November 16, 2008. To actively seek and procure the services of any other A&E firm to perform these services would be a detriment to the park, the National Park Service, and the U.S. Department of Interior. A firm other than Andrews & Anderson would have a difficult time getting up to speed on the previous work on this project. Bringing in another firm would surely cost the Federal Government more money and more time. The selected A/E will perform A/E construction services for this project - submittal review, coordination of sustainability requirements, office services, and site visits as needed.
