Combination Synopsis/Solicitation: Camera Mount Upgrade Solicitation Number: W9124R-10-T-1031 Response Date: 24 June 2010 at 12:00 PM MST Technical Questions Due: 21 June 2010 at 12:00 PM MST This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-42, Effective 16 Jun 2010 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), current to DCN 20100608 Edition. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. Offerors shall account for any costs associated with accepting credit card payment. This CSS is being solicited as 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333314 with a size standard of 500 employees. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at http://ww.ccr.gov. The Government will award this requirement to the lowest price, technically acceptable offeror. This contract will be for the procurement of the following item: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity of one (1) each, Heavy Duty Camera Mount Upgrade in accordance with the attached technical specifications. Manufacturers information for the camera mount to be upgraded is not available, however, pictures of the mount are provided as an attachment to this CSS. All pertinent information applicable to this solicitation is also located at the Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center Yuma website at www.yuma.army.mil/contracting All quotations shall include any transportation costs to U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, AZ 85365-9498. All quotations shall be clearly marked with RFQ reference number W9124R-10-T-1031 and emailed or sent to the Point of Contact (POC) listed below or sent by facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than 24 Jun 2010 at 1200 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. As a minimum, offerors shall include with their signed quotation the following information: (1) Company name and address; (2) Point of contact with telephone and facsimile numbers and e-mail address; (3) A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications Alt - I NOTE: In order to complete the Representations and Certifications you may go to the Air Force web site at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/Vffar1.htm, locate the referenced clause, copy and paste it to a word document and complete FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial items (Aug 2009) with Alternate I (Apr 2002); (4) Sufficient technical literature and description to enable the Government to evaluate conformance with the technical requirements; (5) Proposed delivery schedule; (6) Proposed price to include any applicable freight; and (7) A statement indicating whether or not the Government VISA credit card will be accepted as the method of payment. In addition, all technical questions concerning this requirement must be emailed to the POC listed below no later than 21 Jun 2010 12:00 PM MST. All questions will be answered via amendment to this RFQ on 22 Jun 2010. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by FAR provision 52.212-1 or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
