Description
See attached body of contract. The Solicitation number is: DE-SOL-0001834 and is posted to FedBizOpps.gov. The contractor shall provide a semi-automatic M&P Full size frame model Simunition pistol that meets the following technical specifications: Minimum 10-round magazine capacity.Minimum trigger pull operation shall be at least 3.5 pounds.Ease of maintenance.Simple operator dis-assembly, cleaning, and reassembly.Must be compatible with all Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm accessories. Physical Dimensions: With sights attached and empty magazine inserted in weapon, the following dimensions shall not be exceeded: ?Pistol must be compatible with all 9mm Reduced Energy Cartridges (FX, SecuriBlank, and CQT). ?Must have an ambidextrous slide stop. ?Barrel length shall not exceed 4.25 inches; ?Overall pistol length hall not exceed 7.5 inches ?Overall pistol weight shall not exceed 24 ounces. ?Caliber of conversion kit shall be.40/9mm.?Have a reversible magazine release?Have a universal Picatinny equipment rail.?Have Tritium Night Sights?Interchangeable palmswell grips?Weapon finish shall be blue in color in order to be easily identified as a "Training Pistol" Ergonomics: The Handgun shall accommodate the user hands ranging from small to extra large. Must be easily identifiable as a training pistol. Safety Mechanisms: Must have passive trigger safety, Striker block safety, Disconnect sear release lever.
