Description

Naval Sea Systems Command plans to award a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems & Sensors, Integrated Defense Technologies, 1210 Massillon Road, Akron, OH 44315-0001, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. As inventory of the Vertical Launch ASROC (VLA) All-Up-Round Components (VLA Components) is diminished through in-water events, there is a requirement to replenish the VLA components inventory. This contract is for the production for up to thirty (30) VLA MK54 All-Up-Round components, technical data package, Government furnished equipment repairs and maintenance, engineering and repair services. The contract is a Firm Fixed Price type contract to also include Cost-Plus Fixed Fee CLINs, consisting of a base year plus three option years. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Reference solicitation number N00024-10-NR-6407. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses to this notice must be received by 10:00 a.m. local time on 10 July 2010. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to khanh.p.pham@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
