- This acquisition will be a total small business set-aside. NSN: 2840-01-146-9392 JF. OEM Code: 07482 P/N: 9976M66P08. Description: F101 Engine Metallic Seal. Functions to hold number 5 bearing inner race, air seal, and seal housing in place on the LPT shaft. Dimensions are approximately 2.976 inches long, 8.08 inches min and 8.082 inches max inside diameter, 10.958 inches min and 10.962 inches max outside diameter. Material is steel alloy AMS 6322. Quantity: Total 3 Year Best Estimated Quantity is 114 each. 1st year BEQ of 86 each; 2nd year BEQ of 14 each; 3rd year BEQ of 14 each. Total contract maximum quantity is 171 each. Destination: FB2039, Tinker AFB OK. Delivery Schedule: 1st year order of 86 each at a rate of 8 each monthly beginning 28 SEP 2012. Qualification Requirements: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in the individual solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. Based upon market research, the Government does not anticipate using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Requests for Written Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. The anticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of this notice. The engineering technical data package for this specific item will be referenced and posted with the solicitation. Both new manufactured material and new/unused government surplus material will be solicited to meet the requirements of this acquisition.
