Can you tell mewhere to find or send me a copy of this spec document. Would you be okay with Clear ABSmaterial and the component produced from SLA? A1. Drawing SXZ36103755 has been updated to remove SXZ36103755 and include thetolerances, see attached. ABS material would not meet the requirement.Q2. What type of stress or force will the assembly see?A.2 The stress or force is not known at this time.Q3. What is the optical clarity of the model?Could provide a description of theintended use of the model?A3. The requirement is to use optically clear acrylic. The tank will be filled withwater for slosh test and NASA will need to be able to see through it clearly.Q4. Do you have specific optical quality requirements?A4. See the response to question 3. Q5. As per solicitation the request is for tooling of 1/2 scale tank and one copy of the1/2 scale model of the tank. Please, define desired material, method of production andtherefore type of tooling requested (plastic injection mould, silicone rubber mold forresin casting, vacuum-forming master, digital tooling, etc.) A5. The method of production is unknown but the required material is clear acrylic.Q6. The tank consists of two identical parts put together rim-to-rim. If this is correct, then a request for one copy of the model of the tank covers delivery of two identicalspherical parts. Please, confirm.A6. NASA requires two tanks rim-to-rim.Q7. What is the required durability, clarity and tolerances?A7. The tank will be filled with water and 80 lbs of baffles attached to the bottom andtop with a requirement for optical clear acrylic. See the updated drawing thatclarifies the tolerance. Q8. Should the model of the tank be delivered assembled and connected? Which fixtures arerequired to be used for assembly?A8. The model of the tank should not be connected and there is no assembly.Q9. Please, confirm which type of units are used for the drawings provided for biddingpurposes (inches, cm, mm???) A9. The unit type should be inches.Q10. The dimensions on the drawings are of the life-size tank, not the 1/2 scale model,correct?A10. The dimensions in the model are 1/2 scale.Q11. I would need STEP files of the actual part. If they are available could they besent out via email, please advise.A11. NASA can provide the STEP file of the tank upon award.Q12.
