- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number M00681-10-T-0096 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement, current to DCN 20100430. The North American Classification System Code is 8111219 and the small business size standard is $7 million. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California, has a requirement for the following items: CLIN 001: Quarterly preventative maintenance of conveyor system. The conveyor system is manufactured by Hytrol in 2003, only personnel certified by the manufacturer are authorized to work on it. Conveyor system is located in Bldg 2251 aboard Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in California. Awarded contract will be for one base year, to begin on 1 July 2010 and end on 30 September 2010, and four option years thereafter. See the attached statement of work for description of services to be performed. ]CLIN 002:The conveyor system has a unique remote access feature that is required; any vender providing a quote will need to include this item that will be accessible to them from off site. This is required so that the company providing the service is able to determine what is wrong if the system quits working, and the appropriate person to fix it. Include hourly rates for mechanic, electrician, and programmer whom will be providing service. Any problems found during maintenance of conveyor, or by the off site access feature, will need approval before repairs outside of the preventative maintenance agreement are performed. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vender whose quotation conforming to the solicitation; will be most advantageous to the Government. Venders responding to this announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. The vender should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to submit quotes and be eligible for award (NO EXCEPTIONS). For information on registering with the CCR, visit www.ccr.gov. Venders are required to be registered in Wide-Area Work Flow. Venders can self-register for Wide-Area Work Flow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil.
