Description
The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC), Joint Munitions & Lethality(JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, is conducting market research to locate firms capable of providing 2 Kibron micro-tensiometer systems with integrated sensor and support software. One system will be for non-energetic applications and shall meet the following requirements: 4 sensor heads, Dyneprobes, Teflon multi-well plate (12 x 1 mL), base plate (Al), support software (DeltaGraph), temperature sensing, Wilhelmy method capabilities, and all related cables and manuals. The second system for energetic based inks shall include: Dyneprobes, multi-well plate ( 300-500 microliters), base plate, support software (DeltaGraph), and all related cables and manuals. Microtensiometers are required to measure the surface tension, surface chemistries, and surface/material properties of inks, coatings, and solvents to aid in the development of nano-inks for materials printing and deposition. The requested equipment is for ink jetting applications in support of the Device Prototyping and Manufacturing via Advanced Materials and Energetics Printing Program. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interests and capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, information pertaining to experience on previous projects, specific work previously performed or being performed, any in-house research and development effort, and any other specific and pertinent information as pertains to this particular area of procurement that would enhance the Governments consideration and evaluation of the information submitted. All information is to be submitted via email (10MB limit) at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. Responses shall also indicate the size of the business entity; large or small, and all interested sources should be registered in the CCR database and be able to provide a copy of the most recent ORCA certifications. Please provide the name of your firm, address, POC, phone/fax number, and email address. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions by email. Interested firms/companies are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualification data NO LATER THAN July 9, 2010. Note, this is a Sources Sought/Market Survey Announcement and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFP), nor is the Government obligated to issue an RFP/RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
