Description

THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO REVIEW AND PRINT ON THE FEDBIZOPPS WEB SITE IN APPROXIMATELY 1 DAY. This solicitation is to contract for wildlife habitat enhancement and fuels reduction on 348 acres. The objectives are to reduce tree densities within the designated units to 0 trees per acre. This contract is open to hand cutting with chainsaws, cutting with machinery, or mastication, and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. Location: The project area is on Ely Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and is in the east-central part of Nevada. Township and range is T12N, R60E Mount Diablo base. NAICS code is 115310; size standard is $17.5 Million. Estimated start date is August 2, 2010.
