- A MARKET SURVEY is being conducted to determine if there is a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZONE, 8A, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately. The proposed project is for the construction of a Transient Training Barracks Complex to serve the needs of Reserve and National Guard troops on annual training and house the Rapid Deployment Component of the Division at Fort Drum, New York which consists of three separate Request for Proposal (RFP) packages. Package #1 consists of Site Work, a Company Operations Facility, a Vehicle Maintenance Shop, six Company Sheds, and a Hardstand. Package #2 consists of the Officers Quarters, Battalion Headquarters Building and Enlisted Barracks. Package #3 consists of the Dining Facility. Contract duration is estimated at 540 days for Packages #1 and #3, and 730 days for Package #2. The estimated cost range is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. NAICS is 236220. All interested Small Businesses, certified HUBZONE, 8A, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should respond to this survey by email NLT July 14, 2010 by 2:00 pm, Eastern Time. Responses should include: (1) Identification and verification of the companys small business status. (2) The level of performance and payment bonding capacity that the company could attain for the proposed project. (3) Descriptions of Experience - provide descriptions of projects that are substantially complete or completed within the last five years which are similar to this project in size, scope, and dollar value. Projects considered similar in scope to this project include: single-story office buildings, multi-story hotels, restaurants, vehicle repair shops, and storage facilities. Projects similar in size will include: 10,000 sf office buildings, 20,000 sf hotels or dormitories, 10,000 sf vehicle repair shops and 15,000 sf restaurants, 1,000 sf storage buildings. Projects of similar dollar value will include: $5M $10M for all three packages. (4) A statement of the portion of the work that will be self performed on this project, and how it will be accomplished. Please only include a narrative of the requested information; addition information will not be reviewed.
