- Sole Source Letter (Redacted) This is a posting for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z1880133A004. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-42, Effective 16 June 2010, DCN 20100623, and AFAC 2010-0402, effective Apr 02, 2010. This acquistion will be solicited as a Sole Source requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310. The business size standard is 750 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5965. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3679. Requirement Description: Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for KC-10 Headsets. The requirement is as follows.... CLIN 0001: (150 each) David Clark Headset-Special, Single ear Model/Part # 40608G-04 Earphone Impedance: 300 ohm Earphone Sensitivity: 90dB SPL +/- 5dB on flat plate coupled, re 1mV input @ 1KHz Earphone frequency: 200-5,500 HZ Boom type: flex/Wire Headpad/hardware: super-soft, double foam headset headpad, lightweight hardware Ear seals: patented comfort-gel Volume control: single Noise-canceling Mic: M7A Amplified electrets MIC Impedance: carbon equivalent MIC Sensitivity: 40mV RMS +/- 6dB into 1.50 ohm load @ 1kHz for 94dM SPL input MIC Frequency Response: 300Hz-3.5kHz per RTCA DO 214 Plug type: PJ-051 Cord: 5ft. coil Weight/headset only: 16 oz. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. Please provide quotes valid until 1 October 2010.
