- Dyess AFB, Texas, intends to make a single award for the 'BRAND NAME OR EQUAL' purchase of a Drum/Disc Brake, Tractor Air Brake System and Trailer Air Brake System Training Aids. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price. The solicitation will be available on or about July 1, 2010 and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. You may download the solicitation to prepare your quote for submission. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about July 9, 2010. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 336340. The size standard for this NAICS code is 750 employees. This small business set-aside in this solicitation has been dissolved and is open for any size business.
