- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION FOR BASE ASPHALT/SAND 1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2) Solicitation F1W6CC0153A001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-42 effective 16 June 2010 and Class Deviation 2005-O0013. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DCN 20100623. 4) This is a small business set-aside acquisition under NAICS code is 423840, size standard: 500 employees. 5) Line Items: 0001: 55 Gallon Open Head Steel Drum with a UN Rating: 1A2/X1.4/150. Qty 75 Ea. 0002: 55 Gallon Closed Head Steel Drum with a UN Rating: 1A1X1.4/300. Qty 75 Ea. 0003: 85 Gallon Open Head Steel Drum with a UN Rating: 1A2/X435/S. Qty 75 Ea. 6) The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. 7) Delivery must be made by 05 August 2010, delivery FOB Destination Elmendorf AFB, Alaska 99506. 8) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. 9) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
