- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, 13602 is issuing a Sources Sought for any small business to include 8(a), HUBZone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The Contractor shall provide all resources, except Government Furnished Property (GFP), necessary to perform maintenance and repair on four Hach manufactured Guardian Blue units, which are located at Fort Drum, NY. MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS: All Technicians shall be trained and certified by HACH Corporation and be able to provide a certificate indicating that. Additionally interested parties shall have the capability to maintain equipment IAW Hach Standardized Maintenance Procedures, be able to provide upgrades to the equipment when they are released. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit interest and capabilities from vendors to develop an appropriate procurement strategy. Information gathered may provide direction to the type of set aside. The contract type is anticipated to be a FFP Requirements contract and the duration is anticipated to include a base performance period of one year and four-one year option periods. Individuals or businesses interested in this requirement are requested to submit a statement of interest along with the certification from the HACH Corporation stating that your Technicians are Certified by the HACH Corporation to shannon.dunmire@us.army.mil. This statement shall include company information, DUNS number, a point of contact, and proof that the interested company is a Small Business, CERTIFIED HUBZone Business concern or CERTIFIED Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. In order to receive an award from this contract the successful contractor shall have to secure New York State Insurance. Only responses submitted by e-mail will be considered. Current registration in CCR (https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx) and ORCA (https://orca.bpn.gov/) are imperative prior to submitting your response. This is not a request for competitive quotes and will not result in a contract award. Since this a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. No solicitation exists and vendors should not request a copy of a solicitation. Fort Drum is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. Fort Drum will not accept telephone or fax inquiries. All information received will be considered market research. Fort Drum must receive all responses to this Sources sought notice by 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, 12 July 2010.
