- Amendment 00001 Solicitation Replacement Pages 2-45, all changes are highlighted in yellow. Amendment 00001 (SF-30) Return one signed copy acknowledging receipt of the amendment with your quote/offer. This Presolicitation notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center, Norfolk, VA to identify sources capable of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to support USCG Air Station Atlantic City’s (ASAC) unit-specific aviation training program. ASAC is located at the FAA Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, but all work will be completed in the general vicinity of Atlantic City. The contractor will be responsible for providing and operating a vessel in support of the U.S. Coast Guard’s unit specific aviation training program. A Requirements solicitation with commercial provisions in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items will be issued for a base and four option years on or about 1 July 2010. The scope of the acquisition is for the contractor shall provide a vessel and all necessary management supervision, personnel, labor materials, fuel and equipment required for supporting helicopter crew hoists, rescue swimmer operations, use of force judgmental training, and any aerial delivered material used to fulfill Air Station Atlantic City’s training requirements. Technical, Past Performance, and Price will be considered in the award of this contract. The intended type of contract will be Requirements Type Contract with Firm Fixed Prices. Anticipated award date is 15 August 2010. This is an UNRESTRICTED (Full and Open Competition) acquisition and is open to all prospective responsible sources. The applicable NAICS Code is 488390 with a size standard of $7.0 million. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE NOTIFIED THAT THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE INTERNET ON OR ABOUT 1 July 2010 and is anticipated to close on 15 July 2010. Once the solicitation is issued offerors may submit questions electronically to Jessica.l.coltz@uscg.mil for the first ten (10) days after the solicitation is made available. The Request for Quote (RFQ) and all amendments will be published for viewing and printing at http://www.fbo.gov. Answer: Approximately 40-50% of training operation will take place after dark, this is only an estimate and actual amount will vary depending on training needs of Air Station Atlantic City. e.
