Description
The United States Environmental Protection Agency Region 1 is requesting information about a cyanide distillation system. Please see the below specifications. This is not a request for proposals, quotes, or bid. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. All questions should be submitted in writing to: Brandon Williams at email address: Williams.Brandon@epa.gov. This sources sought is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334516. The Small Business size standard is 500. Cyanide Distillation System Specification Functional Requirements: a)Ability to distill water, wastewater and soil samples for cyanide analysis b)Accuracy and precision c)High throughput of the samples (up to 60 samples per day) d)Required reagent volume < 10 ml/sample setup e)Required sample volume < 10 ml/sample f)Ability to operate without vacuum and chilling systems g)Ability to operate outside a fume hood Interface Requirements: Unit must use sample containers that meet requirements for analysis on existing laboratory analytical instrumentation (Lachat QuickChem Flow Injection Analysis system) Service and Support Requirements: One year full warranty Acceptance Schedule: The Government will accept within 30 days of delivery and upon successful completion of and Initial Demonstration of Capability (IDC).
