Description
The U.S. Property & Fiscal Office for Minnesota has a requirement for Shelving and Installation. Presently the Central Issue Facility (CIF) utilizes approximately 131 pallet rack sections that allow for placement of 8 pallets per section for a total storage of 1048 pallets. The need is for 3 Deep and 2 Deep Push-Back Pallet Rack Systems to optimize storage to approximately 2400 pallets. Blueprint of facility and Site visit is available upon request through Janelle Johnson (320)616-2778 or janelle.j.johnson@us.army.mil Facility is approximately 224 feet x 192 feet REQUIREMENT: Develop a plan/blue print to MAXIMIZE storage in this space Provide Push-back Pallet Racking 2 Deep and 3 Deep Allow for workable aisle width that accommodates existing General Industrial Fork Lift Provide for hardwood pallets for front position Promote Efficiency Allow for MAXIMUM re-use of any existing equipment *Reuse 51 existing pallet rack bays Provide Materials/Equipment List/Summary FREIGHT & INSTALLATION SHIPPING COSTS: Total weight of materials Provide a Statement of Work for Installation to include a time line INSTALLATION POSSIBILITIES: Remove bays of existing pallet racking and wire decks Relocate and anchor bays with beam levels and wire decking Grind anchors flush with the floor Erect/anchor bays for 2 Deep Pushback Erect/anchor bays for 3 Deep Pushback Provide hardwood pallets Remove refuse Palletize remaining rack components *2 Loading Docks available and 1 loading dock with ramp The solicitation is being issued as Request for Quotation W912LM-10-T-0046. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The NAICS Code is 423840 and the business size is 500 employees. The Government intends to evaluate based on product information data submitted with quote and make award based on best value to the Government. Quotes must be received NO LATER THAN 4 August 2010 at the USPFO for Minnesota, Procurement Division, 15000 Highway 115, Camp Ripley, Little Falls, MN 56345-4173.
