- SYNOPSIS - SECURITY GATE, MAIN GATE FA4427-10-R-0110 This is a pre-solicitation notice to notify contractors that the Government is contemplating advertising a solicitation in the near future for a project at Travis AFB, California. This is not a request for proposal, and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The project shall include but shall not be limited to the following: The work includes installation of crash rated gate, crash rated fence, removable bollards, asphalt traffic bumps, and incidental related work. This description of work is for general information only. It is not our intention to describe every feature of items of work or to define the scope of work. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Tradeoff (PPTO) solicitation. The proposed project is COMPETITIVE HUBZone SET-ASIDE. Award will be the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. There will be no public opening. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990. This is not a solicitation. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 the performance period will be 180 days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The responsible offeror must be CCR registered to receive an award. The closing date and time for submission of offerors will be on or about 26 August, 2010, the actual date will be in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be available for download from the FedBizOpps at FedBizOpps.Gov on or about 26 Jul, 2010. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or unofficial plan holder list. The Interested Vendors List will be available on FedBizOpps after solicitation posting based upon the submission of email notifications of firms indicating their interest in the project. Telephone, written, facsimile, or email request for the solicitation package or unofficial plan holder list will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps site for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. NOTE: The response date cited above is an estimate, not an actual. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The primary Point of Contact is TSgt Jose A.
