- This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. Engine Air Seal for F101-102 Engine; AMC code 1C. NSN: 2840-01-146-7482 JF. OEM Code: 07482. PN: 9527M70P03. Description: Engine Air Seal is a circular shaped configuration with a forward and aft flange consisting of numerous bolt holes. Function is to separate the two LPT disks and provide an interstage seal to control air leakage. Dimensions are approx. 22 inches O.D. at one end and 18 inches I.D. at other end by 3 inches wide. Material is René 41 nickel based alloy. Quantity: Best Estimated Quantity for 3 Years - 87 each; Minimum Contract Quantity - 47 each; Maximum Contract Quantity - 131 each. Destination: FB2039, Tinker AFB OK. Delivery Schedule: First Order of 47 each on or before 31 JUL 2012. QR: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8253. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requestors are acceptable. The anticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of this notice.
