Description
This is a notification that the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting Fort Leavenworth, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to The University of Kansas School of Business, 1300 Sunnyside Avenue, Lawrence, KS 66045-7585. The University of Kansas is the only source that can provide the required services to fulfill the Warrior Logistician mission to educate ILE students in the Supply Chain Management portion of the National Logistics Curriculum. The Supply Chain Management Masters Degree (M.S.) program was developed by KU in cooperation with the Department of the Army. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611310, with a small business size standard of $7.0 M. The CGSC Scholar programs provide selected officers in depth expertise in specific areas which cannot reasonably be acquired through the standard ILE curriculum. The contractor shall provide a graduate program in Supply Chain Management culminating in a Masters Degree that complies with the requirements of the National Logistics Curriculum of the United States Army Combined Arms Support Command (USACASCOM). The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract with a twelve month base period and include FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This notice is not a request for quotations. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notification will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical and pricing information. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
