- Description
- This notice is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) located at 14th and C Streets SW Washington DC 20228 has a requirement for "Password Management Software Package". The NAICS code for this activity is 423430. This package shall allow the end user to manage their password securely, allowing administrators to implement stronger password policies across the entire BEP enterprise. The software shall allow end users to change, unlock, or reset their passwords at any time while reducing the BEP's Help Desk workload. Currently end users must request a password change, reset or unlock. This is done by the end user calling or emailing the Help Desk, which in turn results in Help Desk phone lines which are busy, loss of production time, and frustrated users. The Help Desk personnel currently manually complete these password reset functions resulting in each transaction becoming a time consuming process. This software will be used at both BEP facilities - Eastern Currency Facility (ECF) located in Washington, DC and the Western Currency Facility (WCF) located in Fort Worth, TX. The vendor shall be able to provide warranty on this software to the Government. Extended warranties shall be for on-site service for a total period of three (3) years. All software licenses shall convey to the Government. The software shall be Section 508 compliant. The BEP is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO) and Veteran Owned (VO) small businesses for this requirement. If your company is able to provide this requirement to the Government, please submit a response to: Kathleen Reidy, Contract Specialist at Kathleen.Reidy@bep.gov. The response to this sources sought notice shall include your business size classification, a capability statement, and any other pertinent information related to the activity in this notice.
