Description
The Assistant Adjudant G Army and the U.S. Property & Fiscal Office New Jersey have identified a need for a 1,000 Gallon Split Tank Refueling Trailer. The tanks will hold 400 gallons of AV Gas and 600 gallons of Diesel Fuel. The Fuel Tank Trailer will be used to refuel diesel powered tactical vehicles and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in the field. Description of the tank trailer is as follows: 1,000-Gallon split-tank double wall on trailer. Trailer equipped as follows: 20' tandem axle trailer with electric brakes and battery breakaway: 16,000 lb axles @ 8,000 lbs each; heavy duty frame; 3 inch tow ring' tires type 235-75R-17.5H (24,000 lb rating, 6,000 lbs each, 17.5 radial tires) with spare tire as above (with wheel mount, lug, jack & pan); stainless steel ground rod with ground cable & clips; frame color desert tan. Tank equipped as follows; 1,000-Gallon rectangular double-wall stainless steel tank split 400 AV-Gas / 600 Diesel; two full-wall baffles in each tank; full top cage; each tank equipped with: 3 inch top splash fill, Trident vent system (inflow, outflow, and emergency venting), tank level gauge, 4 inch inspection hole and fusible plug, sump drain, fuel appropriate signage. Fueling equipment for 400-Gallon AV Gas compartment; 25 GPM 24 VDC UL explosion-proof pump, heavy duty, top mount; 4-digit mechanical fuel meter with totalizer; 1/2 micron 609 filter system with aquacon element and additional element; D/P gauge; OPW 1: round aviation nozzle and nozzle holder; 50 foot x 1 inch aviation hose (with certification) and spring-wound hose reel. Fueling equipment for 600-Gallon Diesel compartment; 25 GPM 24 VDC UL explosion-proof-proof pump, heavy duty, top mount; 4-digit mechanical fuel meter with totalizer; commercial filter assembly (water and particulates) and additional filter; automatic shut off nozzle holder. Dual onboard battery systems, with 115 VAC charters and 50' outdoor cord; four rear work lights (two top, two bottom); tow aluminum side boxes with lock; multi-volt LED lights, signals, and reflectors capable of operating on 12 or 24 VDC vehicles; two 40BC fire extinguishers and two Halotron fire extinguishers mounted in tool box; swivel jack and safety chains, four corner D-rings for weather or transport tie down; fuel spill kit and two wheel chocks. The intent of this RFI is to investigate the fabrication capabilities of the above described unit. The Government is conducting this market investigation to acquire information on the types and sizes of businesses that will be able to compete on future developmental contracting actions, potential costs, and data rights. Interested organizations that have the capability to rapidly address this request are asked to submit relevant information on their company/institution, product and capabilities within thirty (30) days following the publication of this RFI. Any relevant company background/experience, business category, costs, and any other information that the organization believes demonstrates their value / ability to meet the aforementioned intent should be included. Respondents must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and provide a DUNS number. Firms may register for CCR at www.ccr.gov. All information will be controlled and used for governmental purposes only.
