- Our required floor plan. Scope of Work Modular Classroom Solicitation The Oneonta Job Corps Academy (OJCA) and Education & Training Resources (ETR); located at 21 Homer Folks Avenue, Oneonta, N.Y. 13820, 607-433-2111, are desirous of a certified, bonded, licensed, and fully insured contractor to submit a proposal on the equipment mentioned herein; and if successfully awarded the subject contract, to satisfactorily perform the following work project according to the established criteria contained within same. Final proposals are due to this center, not later than 16 August 2010 at 4:00 PM. Point of contact for this project is Mr. Andrew Giordonello; he can be reached via email at Giordonello.Andrew@jobcorps.org Solicitations must be for 2 new or refurbished modular classroom units measuring ( actual) 28x70 - manufacture date must not be greater than 12 months old if refurbished units are proposed. Solicitations must include leasing scenarios for 36 month, 48, month, and total purchase options. 1. Solicitations must also include provisions in lease agreement for yearly termination / out clause contingency options - Government Funding Out Clause In the event the Government terminates a Center's prime contract with ETR for any reason during the term of the lease agreement and Government funds are no longer available to support this lease contract, ETR shall (in writing) notify the vendor company of such occurrence, and provide evidence of such same occurrence and the lease contract shall terminate on the same day as the unavailability of funds to support this Agreement or prime contract termination. In the event of such termination, ETR and Oneonta Center operated by ETR under the lease agreement shall terminate without penalty. 2. Solicitations must provide for adequate electrical receptacles, telephone jacks, and computer cable access points. 3. Solicitations must be for units appropriate for local area climate and also insure heating and cooling equipment installed upon delivery. 4. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures for building delivery with over width, over height and over length permits as well as two pilot vehicles to facilitate legal and safe delivery. 5. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures to block and level each modular unit upon delivery. 6. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures to anchor / tie down each modular unit upon delivery. 7. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures for building return upon lease termination. 8. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures to remove anchors / tie downs upon lease termination. 9. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures for installation of insulated vinyl skirting around each modular unit. 10. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures for unskirting each modular unit upon lease termination. 11. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures for installation of partition materials for each modular unit - to include 9X9 offices next to each unit's restroom. 12. Solicitations must include procedures and pricing for N.Y.S. code compliant steps into each modular unit. 13. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures for A.D.A. compliant handicapped access ramps for each unit - to include all ramping, decking, building to take place on site and all to N.Y.S. building code. 14. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures for monthly damage waiver to satisfy lease obligation for commercial property insurance (built into monthly leasing costs.) 15. Solicitations must include pricing and procedures for general liability insurance to satisfy obligation for commercial liability insurance (built into monthly leasing cost.) 16. Solicitations for modular units must provide for one male and one female restroom facility in each unit.
