Description
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for construction services near Farmington, NM. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Subpart 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. This is a total HUBZone Set Aside. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Proposal for this requirement. The principal components of the work consist of the following cathodic protection work: * Construct, paint, deliver, and install 173 triangular barriers, 3 rectangular barriers, and 42 single posts;* Install fabricated steel pipe barriers at the Cathodic Protection Test Stations;* Provide and install materials necessary to reestablish 30 damaged test stations; It is anticipated the contract will be a fixed, unit-price construction contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238190 with a Size Standard of $14 million. The work site extends out approximately 7 miles in any direction from the pumping plant, which is located approximately 12 miles south of Farmington, New Mexico. A Bid Bond along with Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. There will be a site tour and pre-proposal conference scheduled (date, time, and location will be provided in the solicitation). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be available on APPROXIMATELY August 15, 2010 at www.fbo.gov. Once logged into the "fedbizopps" web site, simply type in the Solicitation Number "R10PS40049" in the Keyword / Solicitation #" field. Prospective vendors must be registered in CCR prior to the award of a contract.
