Limited Source Justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4707-10-Q-0077. This RFQ is for a contractor to provide the following new items listed below to the HDI Federal Center in Battle Creek, MI. This is a brand name requirement due to the Intermec SR 30 scanners being the only scanners that can interface with the software the Government uses in it's warehouse locations. ITEM SUPPLIES/SERVICES QTY UNIT UNIT-PRICE AMOUNT 0001 Intermec SR 30 Scanner Kit 25 EA P/N: INT-30 Kit contains the SR 30 Scanner, USB cable and hands free stand 0002 Intermec SR 30 Scanner Kit 25 EA P/N: INT-30 Kit contains the SR 30 Scanner and a USB cable This acquisition is set-aside exclusively (100%) for small business concerns, and the associated NAICS code is 423430 with a SBA size standard of 100 in employment. Agency needs dictate that interested offerors must be in compliance with the following additional requirements to be considered technically acceptable. Failure to comply with any of these requirements will result in removal from consideration. Only new, unopened equipment is being solicited. Remanufactured or refurbished equipment, as defined in FAR 11.001, is technically unacceptable. Trade-in or exchange of old equipment is not available. Offers with quantities of less than requested or products other than those specifically requested by brand and model, including replacement models, will be deemed technically unacceptable. The sole evaluation factor for award is; lowest-price, technically acceptable. Any resulting contract or order will be firm-fixed price. Ship to location: HDI Federal Center 74 N.
