Description
Information Technology SupportCenter for Homeland Defense and Security Request for Information (RFI) N00104-10-I-Q965 The purpose of this Request for Information is to seek eligible 8(a) firms, with capability to successfully perform the requirements of the Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) located in Monterey, California. The CHDS runs the Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL), the CHDS web-enabled learning educational programs and the Homeland Security Affairs (HSA) journal. This RFI will provide the Contracting Office and NPS Program Office information on eligible 8(a) firms able to support the CHDS in the Monterey, CA local area in its efforts to develop and provide HSDL information services, web systems development and maintenance, web-enabled learning environments, HSA journal, content design technical services and strategic communications and outreach. The quality of support and the highest performance levels must be maintained to meet or exceed NPS/CHDS standards. The CHDS is a dynamic organization supporting a rapidly changing client/customer across Federal, State, Local and Tribal governments. Eligible 8(a) firms must be able to function within and understand the necessities of security and education operations at all levels of Government in a rapidly changing threat and educational environment. This requirement is at the graduate level of education. Experience at the undergraduate level or training level, while helpful, is not sufficient to ensure successful performance of the requirements. Interested parties shall email the Contract Specialist and request access to the RFI. The Contract Specialist will initiate vendor/respondent access and/or registration in the NAVICP eProcurement system which will allow viewing of the complete RFI document. Other information through email will NOT be accepted.
