Description
SPECS/DRAWINGS ATTACHED ATTACHED RFQ This requirement is a combined synopsis/solicitation that the U.S. Department of Commerce, Eastern Regional Acquisition Division-Kansas City, and U.S. Department of Commerce, Atmospheric Turbulence & Diffusion Division intends to solicit for a contractor to provide forty-six (46) Double Alter Shields. A Double Alter Shield is composed of a 4 foot diameter inner circle and an 8 foot diameter outer circle. The inner circle consists of 4 slat assemblies and 4 vertical supports. The vertical supports are identical for the inner and outer circles. Total inner circle slat assemblies = 184; Total outer circle slat assemblies = 368; total vertical supports = 552. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items procedures. A first article will be required. The NAICS code for this action is 334513.The Eastern Region Acquisition Division- Kansas City requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUN). A DUN number may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet on-line at https://www.dnb.com/product/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. The Request for Quotation (RFQ), Statement of Work (SOW), and drawings are attached to this notice. All interested parties are required to sign and date the quotes before submitting to the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA/ERAD, ATTN: Karen Christian, Room 1756, 601 East 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64106. Quotes must be received on or before 03:00 PM CST, August 13, 2010. Quotes may be sent by either email to karen.l.christian@noaa.gov or faxed to 816-274-6952.
