Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is interested in leasing approximately 92 parking spaces in Phoenix, Arizona, for use as VA Patient Parking. The parking spaces must be state and local requirement acceptable, ADA compliant, and can be provided by new construction or modification of existing space. Parking must be fully accessible meeting all requirements of the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS). On-site parking for 92 vehicles is required, a minimum of 6 spaces have to be designated as Disabled/Handicapped, and 1 space is required to be van accessible. This will be a full service lease with a lease term for five (5) years, with an option for five (5) one (1) year option periods. Any existing parking must be compliant with VA needs or available for modification. Space within or fronting on the following boundaries will be considered: North “ Osborn Road; West “ 12th Street; South: - Camelback Road and East- 7th Avenue. A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA. Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) should contact Antionette Collins-Somerville by telephone 480-325-314, e-mail Antionette.Collins@va.gov or by mail Antionette Collins-Somerville VISN 18, 6950 E. Williams Field Road, Mesa, AZ 85212 no later than 3:30 P.M. AST, Friday, August 20, 2010. Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the above address by 3:30 PM on Friday, August 20, 2010 and must include the following information: Area name and address of the available space Rentable square feet available and expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced. Net Usable square feet (USF) to be offered and expected rental rate per USF, fully serviced. Indicate whether or not the quoted rental rate includes an amount for tenant improvements and state the amount, if any. Date of space availability. Method of rentable space measurement. Building ownership information. Amount of parking available on-site List of services provided(Security, Trash, Maintenance, Lighting) The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. Please note: This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals. A solicitation for offers will be issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs at a later date. All interested parties will submit a request for the solicitation in writing to the attention of Mrs. Collins-Somerville at the above address. Interested offerors should submit three (3) copies of specific information concerning their properties. A site investigation of all properties will be conducted. Complete access of all properties will be required at the time of the site investigation. The VA will not enter into any sublease or ground lease. All offerors that want the VA to enter into a sublease or ground lease will not be considered.
